Chanel Autumn Winter 2011 Nail Collection

Anyone who’s into nails knows that Chanel pretty much run tings when it comes to nail trends. Everyone looks to the French fashion house to find out what the latest ‘it’ colour is. Each season brings a new collection of nail colours and huge waiting lists to acquire them – you’re lucky if you ever hold the bottles never mind getting your very own. Other nail brands are quick to make replica colours but they never quite do it like Chanel.

UK based nail queen Sophy Robson is one of the lucky few who receives the collections way before they hit the market.  Robson’s clients include Kate Moss and Alexa Chung, and she is the women behind the perfected manicures seen in Vogue (UK, French, Russian and Japanese).

Not one to keep precious information to herself, Robson has posted a pic of the A/W 2011 collection on her blog www.sophyrobson.com (yyyeeyyyyyy!). She shows off rounded tips lacquered in Graphite (a shimmering gray), Quartz (a metallic taupe) and Peridot (an iridescent green).

"Ooooooeeeeeee! How lucky I feel to be one of the specially selected few to receive the new Autumn Winter collection of polishes from Chanel. No one does polishes quite like Chanel...although many other brands come up with similar versions the original is always the unique and superior must have!" exclaims Robson, and she predicts the polishes will hit beauty counters in August or early September.

What do you think of the collection? We obviously want them all but we’re particularly in love with Peridot
.
